CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The Illinois State women's track & field team won its third-straight Missouri Valley Conference indoor title, breaking an MVC record with 190.16 points on day two of the MVC Indoor Track & Field Championships. With this win, the Redbirds have won a Valley leading 12 MVC indoor titles.
On the men's side, the Redbirds tied for second overall with Southern Illinois, combining for 112 points as a team.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Redbirds added three more individual champions on day two after Charde Golliday (long jump), Ariana Cranston (pole vault), Grace Beattie (5,000m) and the distance medley relay won titles on day one.
