ST. LOUIS – For the second-straight year, Illinois State volleyball's Sydney Holt and Stef Jankiewicz have been placed on the Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete First Team, while sophomore Sarah Kushner has landed a spot on the Honorable Mention squad, the league office announced on Tuesday morning.
Holt, who graduated in December, finished with an impressive 3.90 cumulative grade-point average (GPA) as an exercise science major. The three-time MVC Honor Roll member has been placed on ISU's AFNI Honor Roll in every possible semester and has maintained the highest GPA among upperclassmen.
