NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State track & field team is set to host its annual pole vault and throws clinic on Jan. 5-6, 2019, at the Horton Field House on the ISU campus. The two-day clinic is open to students in grades 6-12 and will include four sessions of hands-on instruction.
The pole vault clinic will be led by Redbird Associate Head Coach, Mary Wood, who enters her fifth year with the ISU track & field program. During her four seasons at ISU, she has coached 11 Missouri Valley Conference champions, 18 MVC All-Conference performers, 10 NCAA West Preliminary Round qualifiers, five USA Junior National Qualifiers, and four Illinois State record-holders.
