ST. LOUIS – Illinois State seniors Valentin Peugnet and Felix van Dijk have been named Co-Missouri Valley Conference Golfers of the Week for their performance in the deep field at the 2022 Badger Invitational.
The pair tied for 7th in a tournament field of 90 golfers with matching scores of 69 (-3) and 70 (-2). The duo's 139 for the 36 holes marks just the sixth and seventh times that an ISU golfer shot a two-round final score under 140.
Of the six golfers to finish ahead of the Redbird duo, three were nationally-ranked at the end of last season's GolfStat rankings.
