NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State gymnastics team is back in action this weekend and will host fellow Midwest Independent Conference foe Southeast Missouri State Saturday at Horton Field House beginning at 2 p.m. The Redbirds were scheduled to face SEMO on Jan. 24, but the meet was cancelled due to COVID-19 protocols.
"What a difference a week makes," ISU head coach Bob Conkling said. "Having most of our athletes back in workouts this week and having a full lineup for this weekend has given our team new energy. We are excited and looking forward for our meet against SEMO.
