ITHACA, N.Y. – The Illinois State gymnastics program finished in the top 20 in the country in team cumulative grade point average, as the Redbirds came in at No. 17 with a 3.7524 GPA for the 2024-25 academic year based on data submitted to the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA). In addition, 19 current and former Redbird student-athletes were recognized as Scholastic All-America team members, which accounted for 90 percent of the team recognized.
Redbird gymnasts Madyson Baucom, Jada Beswick, Elli Brownfield, Leah Davis, Mackenzie Flutman, Reese Grolla, Abbey Harris, Julia Heiner, Audrey Hiatt, Jaly Jones, Alana Laster, Ally Lau, Jaye Mack, Mia Oh, Savannah Ray, Mya Robinson, Sara Wabi, Sammie Wolff and Joy Ziegenfelder each posted GPAs of 3.
