NORMAL, Ill. – As a way to give back to the community that supports them, Illinois State Athletics, and The Millan/Petro McDonald's Organization teamed up this winter for a donation drive titled Redbird Community Pride presented by McDonald's. Earlier this week, representatives from Redbird Sports Properties and ISU Athletics, along with Jack Millan and Mikel Petro presented eight cart loads of canned food/dry goods to the School Street Food Pantry in Normal.
Redbird fans and community supporters dropped off donations at Redbird Arena and Hancock Stadium prior to home men's basketball games and football games in 2021.
