INDIANAPOLIS – Illinois State University Athletics earned an Academic Progress Rate score of 987 in the NCAA's latest Division I APR report released today by the national office. The 987 exceeds the national average of 984. The APR tracks eligibility and retention of scholarship student-athletes each semester and annually provides a real-time picture of the performance of each team on these two measures.
Ten Redbird teams achieved APR perfect scores of 1,000 for the 2021-22 academic year – men's basketball, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's golf, women's gymnastics, softball, soccer, women's tennis, and swimming & diving.
