NORMAL, Ill. – Cold and wet conditions at Weibring Golf Club has caused the cancellation of Friday's opening-round of the Redbird Spring Invitational.
Snow and rain Friday morning along with cold temperatures has shortened the tournament to a one-day, 36-hole event. The teams will tee it up at the par-72 Weibring Golf Club Saturday with a 9 a.m. shotgun start to the two rounds.
