AUSTIN, Texas – For the first time in her career, fifth-year senior Emme Olson has been selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-American Third Team as announced by the organization on Tuesday.
Olson is one of 35 softball student-athletes selected to one of the three CSC Academic All-American teams and is one of 13 that maintained a 4.0 grade point average. She is the seventh Redbird in program history to be honored as an Academic All-American and the first since Mack Leonard in 2021.
The 2023 season has been one to remember for Olson as she collected many accolades on the field and in the classroom.
