Nobody went home hungry or unhappy from Bradley basketball spaghetti dinner

PEORIA — One thing about the annual spaghetti supper Thursday night at the Itoo Hall: Nobody went home hungry or unhappy. Especially new Bradley post men Koch Bar and Alex Foster.

Bar, the Braves’ 6-foot-11 freshman center, consumed two heaping plates of spaghetti, fried chicken, bread and salad at the urging of numerous coaches, trainers and teammates all charged with adding weight to Koch’s lanky frame.

“I think everybody in the building is going to tell me to keep eating,” Bar said between bites after the 13th dietary visitor to his table.

Not quite all of the approximately 500 BU fans, athletics staff and men’s and women’s basketball players mothered the South Sudan native.
