NORMAL, Ill. – The top-seeded Illinois State Redbirds took the role of spectators on Friday, as they had to wait to find out who they would be playing in the semifinals of the 2023 Missouri Valley Conference Women's Tennis Championship on Saturday. Thanks to a close 4-3 win over No. 4 seed UIC, the Redbirds will take on No. 5 seed Murray State on Saturday at 10 a.m. inside at the Evergreen Racquet Club.
