FAYETTEVILLE, AR – Sisters Julia Nielsen and Wilma Nielsen both advanced to the the quarterfinal round of the Women's 800m, highlighting the first day of action for Bradley at the 2022 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships West Preliminary at John McConnell Field.
Running together in the second of six heats in the first round of the Women's 800m, Wilma Nielsen automatically qualified for Saturday's quarterfinal round by finishing third in the heat in a time of 2:06.07. Julia Nielsen, who won the family battle to earn the individual title in the event during the MVC Outdoor Track and Field Championships earlier this month, finished fourth in the heat in a time of 2:06.
