NORMAL — Illinois State basketball coach Dan Muller said William Tinsley "is right about 6-6, about my height." Just don't expect Muller to be foolish enough to get in any shooting contests with his newest recruit.
Tinsley, a Ridgeview High School graduate and Colfax resident, signed his national letter of intent Wednesday with ISU on the first day of the one-week fall signing period.
Tinsley started his sophomore season for Lake Land College in Mattoon later Wednesday and will have two years of eligibility with ISU beginning next fall.
"He's a great kid and we think has a chance to be a very special player here at Illinois State," said Muller.
