CHENGDU, China - Competition opens this week for Illinois State swimmer Madyson Morse, assistant coach Sean Sullivan and Team USA at the World University Games in Chengdu, China. Opening ceremonies kicked off last Friday to signal the official start of the 31st Summer Universiade and swimming events are set to get underway Aug. 1.
Morse is set to compete in the 50m Breaststroke and the 100m Breaststroke for Team USA. Her racing schedule is spread across seven days, beginning Aug. 1 with 100m Breaststroke heats.
