The invitational will begin Friday at 12 p.m. with singles followed by one round of doubles. Play will run throughout six courts and will be the final tournament for the Redbirds this Fall.
The tournament lineup will include Marquette, Chicago State, DePaul, Lewis, Eastern Illinois, Butler, Saint Louis and host Illinois State.
Last season at the Redbird Invitational, the Redbirds collected 13 wins at the tournament.
