BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Redbirds overcame Belmont, 4-3, Feb. 11 at the Bloomington Tennis Center.
"What a battle we played today against a very good Belmont team," head coach Mark Klysner said. "The guys competed so well."
Illinois State battled with Belmont, but ultimately came out on top. Belmont took the first singles match in the No. 1 spot over Christoffer Greve. Pol Botifoll Rius earned a win over Stephen Goldman to put the Birds back on top. The Bruins battled back taking a match over Andreas Boers.
