BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Redbirds topped UMKC, 4-3, Saturday, Feb. 2 at the Bloomington Tennis Center in Bloomington, Illinois.
"I am so proud of my guys. We came out flat in doubles and it gave me a feeling like this is going to be a rough night, but these boys come out fighting in singles," head coach Mark Klysner said. "The energy and intensity was amazing. To go down 3-0 and come back and win the last four matches really showed the character these guys have."
The Redbirds fell to 0-3 early in the match, after dropping all three doubles matches.
