NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State men's tennis head coach Mark Klysner announced the addition of Diego Herrera to the 2018-19 season.
A Portugal native, Herrera has been training in Barcelona for the past seven years and will begin his ISU career in the fall of 2018 as a freshman.
Herrera on Choosing Illinois State: "I chose ISU because it is somewhere I can compete at a high level and where I can initiate my studies in the business field. Another reason I chose ISU is because of the good relationship I have with Coach Klysner that showed me a lot of enthusiasm regarding the tennis team.
