NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State head men's basketball coach Dan Muller has announced the addition of Ryan Schmitt to a National Letter of Intent to play for Illinois State in 2021-22, and he will have three years of eligibility to use with the Redbirds.
"I'm excited to add Ryan to the Illinois State basketball family," said Muller. "Ryan has been well coached over the last two years at DMACC. You can see his growth and development through those two years, which helped lead them to a National Championship this year. Ryan has won at a high level at both high school and junior college and I can wait to get him to campus to help his continued development.
