ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Valley Football Conference announced on Tuesday the placement of Redbirds' fullback, Timothy McCloyn II, on the Pre-Season All-Conference Honorable Mention team and have ranked Illinois State seventh overall in the pre-season poll voted on by league coaches, media and sports information directors.
In the unusual 2021 spring season, the MVFC crowned South Dakota State, Missouri State and North Dakota tri-champions. For the first time since joining the conference in 2008, SDSU has been chosen to win the conference in the fall of 2021 with 454 points and 24 first-place votes.
