ST. LOUIS – Bradley junior Sandra Maletin (Belgrade, Serbia) has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Women's Tennis Singles Player of the Week, according to an announcement from the league office Tuesday afternoon.
Maletin turned in a pair of dominant, straight-sets wins at the No. 1 position during Bradley's season-opening dual matches this past weekend against IUPUI and Murray State at the Clubs at River City. The two-time MVC All-Select honoree began the season Friday with a 6-2, 6-2 victory against IUPUI's Krystal Grubb, giving the Braves a 2-0 lead in their eventual 5-2 victory against the Jaguars.
