ST. LOUIS – Bradley junior Sandra Maletin (Belgrade, Serbia) has been selected the Missouri Valley Conference Women's Tennis Singles Player of the Week for the second time this season, according to the weekly announcement of the awards by the league office Tuesday afternoon.
Playing in the No. 1 Singles position, Maletin remained unbeaten (5-0) during the early dual match season by rolling to a 6-3, 6-3 win Saturday against Kansas City's Michaela Zibilia. She lost out on an opportunity to move to 6-0 with a Power 5 conference victory Sunday, however, when her match against Missouri's Serena Nash was halted by the "play-to-clinch" scoring format.
