NORMAL, Ill. – Junior guard TeTe Maggett set a new career high with 24 points as the Redbirds captured their sixth-straight win, downing UMKC 62-55.

It was a back-and-forth affair in the Swinney Recreation Center with 10 lead changes and six ties, but the Redbirds would ultimately pull away and keep the win streak alive.
Simone Goods added two buckets in the paint to start the Redbirds with a 4-2 lead in the first period. The senior forward added six points to pace the 'Birds to a 14-13 first quarter finish.
