NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State freshman gymnast Jaye Mack has improved each of the first three weeks of the season and continued that progression with a great meet last weekend, which earned her the MIC Newcomer of the Week honors on Wednesday.
The MIC Newcomer of the Week honor is the first for Mack this season and it's the second MIC weekly honor for a Redbird gymnast in 2022.
Mack shined for the Redbirds against Eastern Michigan, as she tied for a pair of event wins in ISU's home opener inside Horton Field House.
