Loyola guard Lucas Williamson could miss the rest of the season after aggravating a hand injury, Ramblers Porter Moser said Monday.
Williamson, who missed eight games earlier this season after suffering the initial injury, sat out both games last week.
“He’s going to be out for a while, if not the season,” Moser said on Monday’s Missouri Valley Conference weekly coaches teleconference. “I think surgery is imminent. It’s unfortunate for him. There is a chance he can get back. We’ll know later about the timetable.”
In 11 games this season, including 10 starts, Williamson is averaging 8.
