PEORIA, Ill. – Senior Grace French limited Loyola to just five hits, but the Ramblers got a two-hit complete game shutout from Peyton Pepkowski as Bradley Softball fell 2-0 in the Missouri Valley Conference opener for both teams Saturday afternoon at the Petersen Hotels Field at the Louisville Slugger Sports Complex.
French pushed her streak of consecutive innings without an earned run to 16 innings, keeping Loyola (7-11 overall, 1-0 MVC) off the scoreboard until the top of the fourth.
