NORMAL — Two four hour-plus Missouri Valley Conference Tournament games meant the Illinois State baseball team did not play Wednesday at Duffy Bass Field.
Originally scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and moved back to 9:10, the ISU-Missouri State game will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday.
The Bradley-Belmont matchup to open Wednesday's slate was completed in a relatively snappy 2 hours, 38 minutes.
The Illinois-Chicago vs. Southern Illinois contest that followed consumed 4:05, and a third game pitting Murray State against Belmont lasted 11 innings and 4:36.
