EDWARDSVILLE, IL – Bozana Lojpur and Nikki Perlwitz showed strong debuts to the 2021 fall campaign in defense of their Missouri Valley Conference individual championships to headline Bradley Tennis this afternoon at the Cougar Invite on the campus of SIUE.
The Braves began action at 1 p.m. against Eastern Illinois in singles, winning in Flights 2-5. Lojpur, Kiristin Hailey, Maria Bezmenova and Perlwitz cruised to straight set victories. Hailey's victory marked the first as a collegian. Madalena Andrade needed three sets to take her first victory as a Brave 3-6, 6-1, 10-8 in Flight 3.
