PEORIA, Ill. -- Senior forward Leti Lerma (Muscatine, Iowa/Muscatine) has been named the Bradley COUNTRY Financial Scholar-Athlete of the Week after helping the Bradley women's basketball team to a pair of road victories last week.
Lerma averaged 13.5 points on 55 percent shooting and also averaged 10.0 rebounds and 1.0 assist per game in two road wins to wrap up the non-conference portion of the schedule. After battling foul trouble in the first half at Valparaiso, she collected six points, eight boards, one assist and one block in the second half en route to eight points and nine rebounds in the 67-56 win against the Crusaders.
