NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State soccer secured its third straight shutout with a 2-0 win over IU-Indy Thursday evening at Adelaide Street Field.
Freshman Rylann Law tallied a brace with goals in the 32nd and 63rd minutes of the contest to secure the win for the Redbirds. Law became the first freshman Redbird to tally a brace since Hannah Mueller on September 19, 2018, against Western Illinois.
Law now leads the MVC for the most goals by a freshman this season. Law has also recorded a goal in the last three games for Illinois State, which is the longest since Illinois State Athletics Percy Family Hall of Famer, Rachel Tejada, tallied a goal in five straight contests.
