NORMAL, Ill. – Fifth-year senior Sydney Laufenberg will compete in the discus throw at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships this Saturday, June 12 at 4:35 p.m. Central Time (2:35 p.m. Pacific Time) at the historic and newly renovated Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.

Laufenberg becomes the first women's discus thrower in Illinois State track & field history to qualify for the discus twice in her career and is one of only five women in school history to qualify in the same event in back-to-back seasons.
