NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State gymnastics standouts Angelica Labat and Cameron Topp were instrumental in the Redbirds' season high score of 195.725 on Sunday in their home quad meet. For efforts, Labat repeated at the Midwest Independent Conference Gymnast of the Week and Topp was honored with the MIC Performance of the Week on Tuesday.
The MIC Gymnast of the Week honor is the third for Labat this season, as she previously earned the award on Feb. 16 after winning a pair of all-around titles for the Redbirds and again last week for her performance in the tri-meet with Southeast Missouri and Centenary.
