NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State junior Jaelyn Keene will spend 10 days training with the U.S. Collegiate National Team-Indianapolis program, beginning Tuesday in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The Redbird middle blocker will be one of 36 players training with the squad, which is part of USA Volleyball's High Performance pipeline. The training session is considered a second tryout for the U.S. Women's National Team.
After the first five days of training, the players will be divided into three 12-player rosters. The competition phase of the training, held at the Indiana Convention Center, will feature a round-robin tournament and will take place June 26-29 at the Indiana Convention Center, the same venue that hosts the USA Volleyball Girls' Junior National Championships.
