Senior Keaton Rice of the Bradley baseball player is among the nation's top catchers as he was recognized on the Buster Posey National Collegiate Catcher of the Year Award Watch List, announced by the Greater Wichita Area Sports Commission.
Rice is one of 76 catchers to earn the recognition on the list and the only representative from the Missouri Valley Conference.
A two-time All-Missouri Valley Conference honoree, Rice has appeared in 146 career games with the Red & White – accumulating 117 hits with a .253 average, 71 RBI and 79 runs scored, while hitting eight home runs and 31 doubles.
