NORMAL — Ladellia Maggett, a second team junior college All-American guard from Vincennes University, has committed to sign a national letter of intent with the Illinois State women's basketball program.
The 5-foot-9 Maggett helped Vincennes to a 25-7 record this past season by ranking 12th nationally at 20.0 points per game.
She also averaged 6.0 assists, 4.0 steals and 3.5 rebounds. A graduate of Zion-Benton High School, Maggett will have two years of eligibility at ISU.
Maggett shot 49.3 percent from the field, 32.7 percent from 3-point range and 70.7 percent at the free throw line during her sophomore season at Vincennes.
