NORMAL — Illinois State women's basketball coach Kristen Gillespie has added a junior college All-American and a two-year starter at a Division I NCAA Tournament team to the Redbird roster.
Juliunn "JuJu" Redmond, a 5-foot-11 guard-forward from Tallahassee Community College, has signed a national letter of intent with ISU. She will have two years of eligibility with the Redbirds.
Redmond was named Panhandle Conference Player of the Year and was a first team selection on both the NJCAA and Women's Basketball Coaches Association All-American teams. She averaged 18.3 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.8 assists this past season and helped Tallahassee to a national championship as a freshman.
