NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State volleyball team will make its home debut this weekend, when it hosts No. 14 Illinois, UCF (RV) and No. 7 Marquette for the 2019 Redbird Classic, presented by The Edge Apartments. All four teams participating in this weekend's event made an appearance in the 2018 NCAA Tournament, with Illinois reaching the Final Four.
The six-match tournament is set to begin on Friday at 4:30 p.m. with the final match slated for 3 p.m. on Sunday. A full tournament schedule can be found at GoRedbirds.com (PDF), as well as promotions for the weekend.
