NORMAL — Illinois State's volleyball team seeks to nail down at least a share of the Missouri Valley Conference regular-season championship Friday night when the Redbirds play rival Bradley at Peoria.
ISU enters the 7 o'clock match at Renaissance Coliseum at 24-5 overall and 16-1 in conference play. The Redbirds have won 12 in a row. Bradley is 22-7 and 12-5.
ISU has won the last 15 meetings against Bradley and is 25-1 against the Braves since 2005. The Redbirds are led by senior libero Courtney Pence, who last week became the MVC's all-time leader in digs.
