BLOOMINGTON — In the midst of busy conference seasons, the baseball teams from Illinois State and Illinois Wesleyan view Wednesday’s Horenberger-Bass Classic as more than just another nonconference game.
“I like it. It brings a lot of homegrown loyalties to the park,” ISU coach Bo Durkac said. “Last year there was a lot of (Wesleyan) green in the stands, and I’m sure we’ll have a lot of (ISU) red at their place. I think it’s good for the community.”
