ST LOUIS – The Missouri Valley Conference has awarded Illinois State women's gymnast Alyssa Wiggle with the State Farm MVC Good Neighbor Award. Wiggle was one of 10 student-athletes have been named by Commissioner Doug Elgin as a State Farm MVC Good Neighbor Award honoree for the 2018-19 Winter season.
Wiggle was given the honor for her outstanding academic achievements, as well her strong community involvement. Wiggle has earned a 3.81 cumulative grade point average in her major of middle level teacher education, along with being awarded Scholastic All-American honors from the National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches for Women.
