NORMAL — Illinois State's men's basketball team will open the Missouri Valley Conference season on Jan. 2 at Valparaiso as the league office announced the 18-game MVC schedule Tuesday.
ISU's two games against Interstate 74 rival Bradley will be on Jan. 23 at Peoria and Feb. 16 at Redbird Arena. ISU closes the regular season March 2 at Southern Illinois.
