DES MOINES, Iowa — Brian Wardle can’t believe his luck. And he doesn’t consider it good fortune.
As the Bradley coach prepares his team for an 8 p.m. Wednesday road game at Drake, he’s well aware the Bulldogs’ 15-game home winning streak just came to an end Saturday against Southern Illinois. The streak was the ninth-longest in the nation.
“Most coaches would say we got some bad luck there,” Wardle said. “You’d rather catch a team on a long streak and maybe catch them on an off night.
