ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Illinois State women's and men's indoor track & field teams were picked to win the Missouri Valley Conference, as selected by the conference's head coaches and announced Tuesday.
The ISU women received 137 points, nine points ahead of Indiana State to secure the top spot in the 12-team pool while the ISU men received 93 points to edge Indiana State by two points and lead a 10-team grouping. The Redbirds finished second on both sides in 2021-22.
"We are honored to have been selected to win the Missouri Valley Conference on both the women's and men's sides," Director of Track & Field and Cross Country Jeff Bovee said.
