EVANSVILLE, IND. – The Illinois State women's golf team's first round score at the par-72 Charles Braun Jr. Intercollegiate tournament is 326. The tournament is being played at the 6,032-yard Oak Meadow Country Club golf course in Evansville, Ind.
The team sits in seventh place going into the final round on Tuesday. Leading the 13-team field is Southern Illinois with a 317 in the first round.
Junior Becca Black and senior Caitlin Sims led the Redbirds through the first round to end in a four-way 17th place tie.
