Illinois State women's basketball finishes strong to cast aside Jackson State

NORMAL -- The Illinois State women's basketball team scored 15 consecutive fourth-quarter points to turn away persistent Jackson State, 77-55, Thursday at Redbird Arena.

Lexi Wallen scored 15 of her game-high 21 points in the fourth quarter as the Redbirds improved to 8-2 before an Education Day crowd of 2,337.

Megan Talbot added 16 points, Mary Crompton 15 and freshman McKenna Sims a career-high 13 for ISU.
