NORMAL, Ill. – The Redbirds are on the road for their final three-game series of the 2022 conference season as Illinois State (22-25, 12-11 MVC) is set to take on the Southern Illinois Salukis (25-18-1, 14-10 MVC) on Friday, May 6 and Saturday, May 7 in Carbondale, Ill.
The original schedule had the Redbirds and Salukis matched up for a doubleheader on Friday, May 6 and a single-game on Saturday, May 7, but due to weather, the series will now flip to a single game on Friday and a doubleheader on Saturday.
