ST. LOUIS – Illinois State will serve as host for the 2021 Missouri Valley Conference Cross Country and Volleyball Championships this fall, MVC Commissioner Doug Elgin announced Thursday.
The 2021 MVC Cross Country Championship will be hosted at the Weibring Golf Club on Friday, October 29. The women's 5K race and the men's 8K race will be run around the golf course that annually hosts a fall invitational meet. Illinois State is hosting the MVC Cross Country Championship for the first time since 2012, when the Redbird women's team won on their home course.
About a month later, Illinois State will host the 2021 MVC Volleyball Championship inside Redbird Arena.
