INDIANAPOLIS –The latest NCAA Graduation Success Rate (GSR) report released Tuesday yielded yet another record-high rate for Redbird student-athletes, as their graduation rate of 91 percent is an increase over last year's record rate of 90 percent.
Eleven of 15 Redbird teams recorded a GSR greater than the national average in their respective sport. Nine teams achieved perfect 100 percent GSR rates including: men's golf, women's golf, men's tennis, women's tennis, gymnastics, women's basketball, soccer, softball and volleyball. Two additional teams achieved a 91 percent or higher score. The 91-percent rate for ISU is a point higher than the national average for all NCAA Division I institutions.
