NORMAL — A stout showing against nationally ranked FBS entry Oklahoma has the Illinois State defensive line encouraged about its capabilities for the remainder of the season.
The Redbirds limited the Sooners to 103 yards on the ground and 3.2 per rush in a season-opening 35-3 loss in Norman, Oklahoma and step back into the FCS ranks Saturday to take on Morehead State in a 6 p.m. nonconference game at Hancock Stadium.

"We're confident this year. We've got depth. We can rotate more guys," senior defensive tackle Nick Kessler said. "I think it showed in that first game.
